STRONG WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP DEBUT PERFORMANCE FOR JACK CLARKE AT SPA
Jack Clarke put on an impressive display in his first ever World Endurance Championship event in the six hour race at Spa Circuit in Belgium last weekend (4/5 May). The young driver from Effingham in Surrey led his team – Boutsen Ginion Racing – to a fifth place in the LMP2 class against the toughest sportscar competition in the world. As ever at Spa Circuit in the Ardennes forest, the conditions were very difficult and although qualifying took place in the dry, the race started in very damp conditions with excessive spray making visibility almost non existent.
